Getting Started with Schedule Builder

Schedule Builder helps you create a season schedule from the information you enter about your teams, dates, fields, courts, and game times. The clearer your setup is, the better the schedule will be.

Where to start

1. In the Bravara web app, use the left navigation.
2. Find the Schedule section.
3. Click Schedule Builder.

The page title should say Schedule Builder. The setup steps appear in order: Schedule Types, Date Ranges, Blackout Dates, Frequency & Games, Times & Durations, Venues & Spaces, Overflow, Smart Defaults, and Review.

Before you start

Check these items first:

• Your season is selected.
• Your divisions are set up.
• Teams are created in each division you want to schedule.
• You know the first and last possible game dates.
• You know which fields, courts, gyms, or other spaces can be used.
• You know the days and times each space is available.

Work through each step

Start with Schedule Types and choose what Bravara should schedule. Most leagues begin with games. If your account also has practice options, add those after the game setup is correct.

In Date Ranges, enter the real dates when games can happen. Do not shorten the season just to avoid holidays or special events. Use Blackout Dates for days when nothing should be scheduled.

In Frequency & Games, tell Bravara how often teams should play. In Times & Durations, enter the game length and the earliest and latest start times.

In Venues & Spaces, add each place your league uses, then add the specific field, court, gym, or room inside that place. For each space, enter the divisions that can use it and the times it is open.

Use Overflow only when you want to give Bravara backup choices if the normal setup does not have enough playable time. For example, you may allow a backup field or an extra weekday only when needed.

Create the schedule plan

Click Continue as you finish each step. On the Review step, read the summary and then click Create schedule plan. If Bravara asks you to review settings first, follow the message shown on the screen before creating the plan.

After it finishes

Review the result before sharing it with families. If something does not look right, click Back to builder, adjust the setup, and create the plan again.
