Team Schedule, RSVPs, and Team Chat for Coaches

A Bravara coach account includes a team schedule with RSVPs and a team chat for parents and players. This article shows how to add games and practices and how team chat is set up.

Add a game, practice, or event

1. Open Schedule and click Add event. You can also click Add event on Home.
2. Choose the Event type: Game, Practice, or Other.
3. For a game, enter the Opponent and choose home or away. For other events, enter a Title.
4. Set the Date, Start time, and Duration. Location is optional.
5. For a practice that happens every week, set Repeats to Weekly and pick an end date.
6. Click Create event.

The schedule can be viewed by Month, Week, or List. Set Status to Draft if you are not ready for families to see an event yet.

See who is coming

RSVPs are turned on for every new game and practice. Parents and players answer in the app. Your Home page shows who is coming to the next event and who has not answered. For other event types, turn on Allow RSVPs when you create the event.

Team chat

Two chat channels are created with your team:

• Team chat, named after your team. Coaches, parents, and players can all post.
• Announcements. The head coach posts. Everyone else can reply to a post and react to it.

Open Chat to read and send messages. Click New message to message one person directly, or Create channel to start another group, such as coaches only.

Parents and players are added to team chat when you approve their join request. People who follow the team as Family / Friend or Fan are not in team chat.

Common questions

Can I cancel a game? Yes. Open the event, click to edit it, and set Status to Canceled.

Can I do this from my phone? Yes. The mobile app has the same schedule under Calendar and the same chat under Chat.

Do parents need to pay or create a league account? No. They join your team with your team link and use the free Bravara app.
