Importing Player Evaluations into Bravara

Modified on Tue, 11 Mar at 2:22 AM

When importing player data into Bravara, you can include player evaluation scores by adding extra columns to your import file.

Why Import Evaluations?

  • Carry over evaluations: Quickly bring in ratings from previous seasons without re-entering them manually.
  • Convenient data entry: Import new evaluations easily using a spreadsheet.

How to Import Evaluations:

  1. Prepare your spreadsheet:

    • Include player identification columns such as Player Name, Parent Email, and Phone Number.
    • Add additional columns for each evaluation category. For example, if you have an evaluation category called Hitting, add a column named Hitting.
  2. Match Column Names:

    • Column headers for evaluations must match the evaluation category names exactly (e.g., "Hitting").
  3. Fill in Ratings:

    • Enter scores according to your evaluation scale (e.g., if "Hitting" is rated 1–5, enter numbers from 1 to 5).
  4. Import into Bravara:

    • Click the Import button.
    • Match your columns to Bravara fields when prompted.

Field Mapping:

  • After clicking Import, Bravara prompts you to map your columns.
  • Confirm each evaluation column maps correctly (e.g., match your spreadsheet’s "Hitting" column to Bravara’s "Hitting" evaluation).

Evaluations Attribution:

  • Imported evaluations are automatically attributed to you as the evaluator.
  • Evaluations imported this way behave exactly as if you had entered them manually in the app.

Important: Ensure your file includes player information alongside evaluation data. Bravara must know which evaluations belong to each player, so never import a file with evaluations alone.

That's it! Now you're all set to import player evaluations efficiently into Bravara.
