Import Players from Evaluation Sheet Photos

Modified on Sun, 21 Jun at 12:15 PM

This article shows how to import players in the mobile app by taking photos of physical evaluation sheets. Use this when you have paper sheets with player names and evaluation IDs.

Before you start

  • Use the Bravara mobile app.
  • Open the division where you want to import players.
  • Make sure each sheet is clear, upright, and readable.

Start a photo import

  1. In the mobile app, open More.
  2. Open Evaluations & Draft.
  3. Open the division's evaluation player list.
  4. If no players are listed and you are a season admin, tap Import players.
  5. On the Import players screen, tap Take photos of evaluation sheets.
  6. On the next Import players screen, tap Take Photo.
  7. Take a clear photo of the evaluation sheet.
  8. To add another sheet, tap Add Another Photo.
  9. When all sheets are added, tap Continue.
  10. On Verify Your Photos, check that the images are upright and clear, all player names are visible, and evaluation IDs are readable.
  11. Tap Start Import.

What happens next

Bravara starts the import and shows an estimated time based on the number of photos. The mobile app tells you that Bravara will notify you when the import is complete.

When to retake photos

  • If a photo is sideways, blurry, or too dark, tap Retake Photos before starting the import.
  • If a player name or evaluation ID is cut off, retake the photo so the full sheet is visible.
  • If you added the wrong sheet, remove that photo before continuing.

Examples

  • If your league collected signups on paper at evaluations, take one photo per sheet and start the import from the mobile app.
  • If a sheet has 15 players, make sure every player name and number is visible before tapping Start Import.
