Exporting Teams to SportsEngine

Bravara can create a SportsEngine-ready CSV for your teams. The file uses SportsEngine’s roster import columns.

Where the button is

1. In the Bravara web app, open the left navigation.
2. Click Teams.
3. Look above the teams table, on the left side of the table toolbar.
4. Click Export to SportsEngine. The button includes the SportsEngine logo.

If you do not see Export to SportsEngine, check that your organization’s registration software is set to SportsEngine and that your account has access to exports.

Create the export

1. After clicking Export to SportsEngine, the Export to SportsEngine window opens.
2. Open the Divisions field and select the divisions you want to include.
3. Review the note that the CSV headers match SportsEngine’s roster import template.
4. Click Export in the bottom-right of the window.

Bravara emails you the file when it is ready.

What to check before exporting

• Teams are created in Bravara.
• Players are assigned to the correct teams.
• Head coaches and assistant coaches are attached to the correct teams.
• Guardian contact information is up to date.
• You selected the correct divisions in the export window.

After you receive the file

Download the CSV from the email and upload it in SportsEngine using SportsEngine’s roster import instructions. If SportsEngine reports missing information, update that information in Bravara and create a new export.
